A Girl With A Cape by Amy Logan
About The Book:
It's a story of how the little things add up to be the big things even when we don't realize it; of how our words are so powerful when we speak them to others; and that what we say and how we say it can really become our "superhero cape" - our way to build each other up.
It’s the story of how this little girl’s mom makes her aware of all the good that she does, and praises her for it; that children learn from how we as adults respond to things, take notice, and treat people.
My Thoughts:
This is a great children's book, but this is also a book for the big girls (and boys)! It can teach us to love ourselves, and to be kind to others. The book comes with a gorgeous cape - the superhero cape! The illustrations are great, and the story is simple and sweet! A message for everyone!
About The Author:
I am married with 2 awesome kids, Sadie & Scott, who inspire me every day. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology and a Masters Degree in Teaching. The plan was for me to start teaching once my kids were in school, but a different opportunity came along which allowed me to continue staying at home with my kids. I started with a Direct Sales company in 2004 and basically, it's been my job to help make women feel great about themselves ever since, and to teach others do the same. I have trained, mentored, and inspired (that's what they tell me, anyway!) thousands of people. Pretty cool when you have a passion for the positive!
